“Someone’s
sitting in the shade today because someone planted a tree a long time ago.”
~ Warren
Buffett
In a world
that often appears to be motivated by short-term results, it’s easy to forget
that much of what we do or say has a long-term impact. I’ve experienced this in
various arenas throughout my life; perhaps you have too. I remember specific
teachers and mentors whose guidance eluded me at the time it was bestowed. Many
years later, their wisdom suddenly connected with me on a deep level, inspiring
me to take action on something particularly meaningful at the time. Whether you’re
aware of it or not, you are continually planting seeds of wisdom and
inspiration in others, seeds that will eventually take root and grow in
unexpected ways. What seeds will you plant today?
