Breakdowns are often thought of as something to be avoided.
The specific types of breakdowns I refer to here include regular breakdowns in
our plans, strategies, processes, desired outcomes, relationships, lifestyle
patterns and individual/organizational communication. Think of the essence of
this type of breakdown as a disconnection between what was originally planned
or hoped for and what actually transpired. Consider the possibility that a
breakdown of this type might be exactly what is needed to propel a current
situation and/or relationship from what was wanted to what is optimally needed.
